I always start my meditation sessions with this mantra: “I am here now / I am with you now.
There’s something I’ve found about myself that goes along with this. It’s not about being a self-absorbed “I” person. It’s more about being a person who is fully present and in-the-moment in the present-moment.
It’s a good habit to do when you’re meditating. It helps you realize that you’re not the center of the universe. It helps remind you that you’re not some random person in a room with a bunch of people. You are you. You are in this space and you are in this moment. You are not a random number in a room with some random people. You are you.
Its a good habit to practice. By doing it, you actually make it easier to be a better person. A good meditation is one in which you are fully present in the moment. It is not a passive activity. You are not just sitting there observing. Your heart and mind are fully engaged. You are fully present. You are in the here and now. You are not in an imaginary mental space. You are actually in the here and now. You are not a mental person.
If you want to make it a habit, a nice practice is to sit and listen to music. It has no real meaning of its own, but it is a great way to fill the time. You can listen to music while also doing something else. Most importantly, you need to make sure that you are not just listening to music. You need to be in the right state of mind to really enjoy it. You need to do this every single day.
We all have to start somewhere, and once we are in a place where we are in touch with the present moment, we start to notice how things are. That’s when the benefit of meditation becomes most apparent. In other words, when you start to focus, you notice how you are feeling, what you are thinking, and how you are thinking. You notice how you’re feeling and what your body is doing. This is where mindfulness comes in.
Mindfulness is when we are awake and aware of all the things going on around us. If you are in a car, driving, you are in a state of non-attention. If you are not driving, you are in a state of attention. You are doing something, you are listening to something, and you are paying attention to the feeling of the car. If you are walking, you are in a state of non-attention.
Not only is mindfulness the ability to be fully present in the present moment, but it is the ability to be aware of our thoughts. You notice how youre feeling and what you’re doing… this is where mindfulness comes in. Mindfulness is when we are awake and aware of all the things going on around us. Now, if you are driving, you are in a state of non-attention because you are not paying attention to the way you are driving. This could be because youre mind is not focused on the road as you drive, or youre mind is too busy watching your hands. Either way, it is distracting. Mindfulness is a state of being fully present in the moment. Mindfulness is when we are awake and aware of all the things going on around us.
Just a few weeks ago we were told that mindfulness was being promoted as a new drug and was going to be a way to help people get rid of the stress and anxiety that comes from their job. We’re not so sure about that now. Mindfulness is a technique that is as simple as “slow down, pay attention, and notice the present moment”. It is something that is easily learned.
