It’s a great way to relax and quiet your mind and gain a better perspective on life. It’s also a great way to start your day.
Well, not really, since it isn’t really a meditation but rather a five minute script that I call Mindful.
Mindful is an incredibly simple script that I made up. It is a simple series of sentences that you can type in your browser and practice before you begin your day. I usually use it as a reminder when I’ve been off my best behavior for too long or when I have things I need to do that I don’t want to do. It’s pretty much a way to get yourself back in the habit of paying attention to the things that matter most to you.
For me, Mindful is a way to remind myself to be present, to pay attention to the things that are important. For me, it is also a way to remind myself about the people who matter to me. Its a way to remind myself that I have a life, and that I have a future. Mindful is a way to remind myself about how my days are going to look like.
Mindfulness is a pretty self-affirming concept for someone who is used to being the center of attention. But the way Mindfulness works is more like a mindfulness workout than a mindfulness class. That’s because Mindfulness requires you to get into a bit of “quiet,” where your mind and body are a bit more relaxed. It also requires you to be aware (and, yes, this is a bit disturbing for some people) of what’s going on around you.
Its a bit like a 5 minute meditation session, but its just you and your mind, and if you like, you can add a bit of “jumping and weaving” to it.

But when you do, you get to be in a bit of a meditative state, a bit of a “meditation state,” where you’re not quite aware of your surroundings, but you’re not quite in the same kind of awareness that you’re not being aware of your surroundings. It’s not really meditating, but if you have to try it, it’s a bit like going to a meditation class just to get something out of it.

In my own meditation experience, I find that the meditation state is much more enjoyable than anything else. I always find that the first couple of minutes in a particular meditation session is totally effortless, and after that i just become aware of the fact that I’m not completely in my own mind. It doesn’t really matter how bad it is when you’re doing it, because you just keep going anyway.
