Meditation in Hindi has been talked about for ages, but the practice of mindfulness has only recently come into being in this country. As of March 2015, English-language online courses in meditation classes are available in Mumbai, New Delhi, and other cities of India.
Mindfulness is the practice of taking the time to be aware of the present moment, without thinking about the past or future. And what this usually means in English is simply, “I am aware of myself.” In the same way, it is not surprising that when you meditate in English you are more aware of others.
The notion of being mindful comes from the Buddhist practice of mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR). While it’s important not to think about the past or future, meditation is about being aware of your present situation and how it affects your life. The results of mindfulness training include increased focus, better attention for details, and increased awareness of the present moment. Mindfulness meditation is a quick way to change your attitude, become more productive, less anxious, calmer, and more productive.
It’s true that meditation can help you become more productive, but it’s still a lot of work. And it’s definitely not the magic pill that seems to be going around these days. In fact, one study found that taking meditation supplements, such as meditation-related web sites and other resources, did nothing to change the mood of people who had never meditated.
But its hard to argue with the results of another study: the more you meditate, the more productive you become. In fact, a Harvard study discovered that the more people meditate, the more they work, the more they have money, the less anxious they are, and the more productive they are.
I think we can all agree that meditation is amazing, especially if you are able to do it repeatedly for an extended period of time. The Harvard study was not saying that meditation does not have any positive effects. But it does explain why people who meditate seem to work harder and more productive in the first place.
Some people find it hard to meditate. As with most things in life, just like with exercise, being in a state of meditation helps one’s mind do the work that most of us put off until later. In fact, when people meditate they are more productive than those who don’t meditate, and they think more clearly.
The study also found that people who meditate are more likely to fall in love and are less likely to take life-threatening risks. For example, the study’s authors said that the less meditation the people had done, the more likely they were to fall in love. And when they did fall in love, they were more likely to give up their job or take a dangerous job than those who did not meditate.
In the very first movie ever, the “meditation” part of the story is very confusing. The protagonist seems to be meditating in a cave (that is, not sitting down) while he’s playing a video game. Then he goes and sits down in a classroom. Then he goes and sits down in a bar. Then he has a sit-down with a guy who asks him to stay and meditate.
So the meditators are the ones who are going to be with their lovebirds and they seem to be the ones who don’t have to worry about work or money or whatever. And in the very first movie ever, some of them are having sex with their lovebirds. But in the end, we see that love is just a moment in time. It doesn’t last, and we can’t give it meaning. That’s why we meditate.
