I love earbuds because they allow me to enjoy music while I meditate. I can sit alone and listen to music while my mind wanders, letting the music guide me to a more relaxed state.
They’re really a great way to meditate, but they also have some pretty serious downsides. Unlike a regular pair of earbuds which can fit most earbuds, earbuds for meditation can only fit in the same earbud style you choose for your everyday music, because it’s designed to fit the ear canal. This means you have to have your earbuds in the same exact placement as your music to get the most out of the meditation experience.
I know that earbuds for meditation can be really uncomfortable on the ears, but the problem is that earbuds for meditation can’t be used like headphones. You’re not supposed to be able to listen to music while in meditation, so the only way to do that is with the earbuds you already have.
Earbuds for meditation can be great, because they fit your ears and the sound is really loud, but they also can be really uncomfortable. Ive done a lot of meditation sessions where I used my headphones to drown out the sounds around me and focus better. I know that it can be hard to do in public, but it can be really helpful to be able to focus on your breathing and the music youre listening to.

The thing that really gets me is when you think you need to do a specific meditation technique, and you find it to be difficult. And then you find something as simple as an earbud and you can do it in a way you never thought you could. Just imagine if you could sit down to meditate for an hour and then do it all over again, without having to put on your headphones. It would be incredible.
One of the things that I love about meditation is that it’s the only thing that’s truly free in life. Sure, you might have to pay for therapy, or for a good doctor, or for a good diet, but it’s such a trivial expense that when you’re doing it you can’t imagine paying for it. It’s one of the only things that is actually free.
The problem with meditation is that the brain and the mind isnt a blank slate. It has a mind, some memory, some body, and some experience. It takes a lot of processing to turn a person into a good meditator, but meditators don’t just sit down and start doing it. They do it in a way that allows them to create their own experience, and so they can be completely honest with themselves about the experience.
The Earbuds are a great example. If you are someone who enjoys meditation, I would recommend the Earbuds because they are very comfortable and don’t take up much room. However, if you are someone who is trying to be more of a spiritual person, you should get the earbuds so you can listen to music while you meditate and really be honest with yourself about the experience.
