We can use forgiveness meditation as a way to find out what we are doing wrong in our daily lives, and then we can forgive ourselves and move on.

The first and most obvious way is to see ourselves as the perpetrator of an unforgivable deed. If we are the one who has been doing something that is unforgivable, we will want to turn our focus inward and think about what we did that was unforgivable to ourselves. There is a second, and perhaps more subtle way.
The second way is to use forgiveness meditation as a way to forgive yourself. If you are the one who forgives yourself, this means you are in a position to take responsibility and move on. It also means you are in a position to forgive yourself. When you forgive yourself, you are able to move on to begin to forgive others. In a society where many people are unwilling to forgive others, forgiveness meditation is the best way to move on and begin forgiveness.
We all have a tendency to want to change our minds. The problem is when we want to change our minds we often fail to change our behavior. It used to be that if you were the kind of person who always kept your promises, you would never be in a position to forgive yourself. As a result, you would never be able to forgive yourself. The best way to move on is to start forgiveness meditation.

If it isnt a public show of forgiveness meditation, you can still use forgiveness prayer, which is a religious form of forgiveness. Just remember that you must first be willing to forgive yourself.
