For me, meditation is where I go. I sit down in a quiet space and I quietly and comfortably go through my day and I just sit there without judgment and I just really take in my surroundings.
Meditation is the perfect way to start the day. It allows you to be present without distractions, to just be. You don’t need to rush out and do something productive. If you do, you’ll be distracted by all the other things that are going on in your life.
I think for the most part, meditating is an activity that we can do at home.
It does get a bit more challenging if you want to go to a more organized setting, like a gym, but most people I have worked with have found the benefits of setting aside time for meditation far outweigh the challenges. I find that it is also good for our health. If you think about it, the more we can be present and really pay attention to what is going on, the better off we are.
