This is the best advice I have gotten from my friends and teachers as it has helped me to realize that I could be happy all by myself, in a quiet, peaceful, and meditative place. I am not telling you to stay in bed, meditate, or just go through the motions, I am just telling you to do something that is enjoyable to you and that you are going to enjoy.
I am going to tell you that you need to take a break from the mundane every so often. This is not the time nor is it the place for a quick meditation session. You can do your own meditation, but I suggest that you try to find a place where you can enjoy the silence and quiet.

Or, if you’re feeling especially anxious, you can seek out a soothing yoga class or a Zen meditation class. In the past I’ve found that a quiet spot with the windows open and the sounds of the rest of the world around you can be a great way to take a break from your day.
