This is a favorite meditation for me. This is because the practice of mindfulness includes an awareness of the present moment as well as the past, present and future. Mindfulness means that we’re paying attention to the present, the past, and the future.
I can’t imagine that anyone practicing mindfulness without paying attention to the other three dimensions of our lives. Our minds are busy constantly with the past, present, and future. We are constantly evaluating our actions, our habits, our thoughts, our emotions, and our feelings. The list goes on and on.
Kasina meditation is a form of mindfulness that uses the breath and other relaxation techniques to focus on one particular area of the mind. The goal is to increase awareness of what you are experiencing in everyday situations, rather than just feeling the sensations of any one event. I’ve spent a lot of time meditating in meditation studios, yoga studios, and quiet spaces.
The idea of meditation first came to me through the book Mindfulness in Plain English, by Jon Kabat-Zinn. He explains that the body is a complex network of systems to keep us alive, and all the systems in the body have some influence over the mind and emotions. If you can make your body a place of clarity and peace, its the same place the mind and emotions are, and you can experience a peace of mind that you feel in so many other areas of your life.
I’ve been meditating for over a year now, and I’ve found that I’m very effective at it. I can actually become more aware of my thoughts and emotions when I am meditating. I think this is why I have such a strong connection to the space between my ears. It’s a good time to be there.

This allows me to achieve my goals with more ease.
