To help my guests understand the basic concepts of meditation, I will explain the different levels of awareness and the key differences between them.

Meditation is a very real thing. There are several different approaches to meditation. In the beginning, there are all the various forms of meditation that you can achieve, where you get up and do a certain type of thing. You can sit there and you think about something or you can talk to yourself and you think about something. In the beginning, you can just sit and think with no form of movement at all.
In the first part of the video, we see the mind at work again. In the beginning, you just sit and do nothing. Then we start to see the mind doing certain things. We see the mind doing various things, and the mind is doing things that we don’t understand. So we go through this progression of what we’re doing and why we’re doing it.
In the beginning, you can be entirely still and think about nothing or you can move around. This is the mind doing things. The mind is doing things that we dont understand.
The mind is doing things that we dont understand. That is a good point. It’s hard to explain really. But I did think about it and I thought, “oh, yeah, that’s the idea of meditation in the beginning.” I am always finding that those things that we think we know, we dont know. There is so much that we dont know, and so much that we think we know, that we dont know. But that’s the beginning. That’s what meditation does.
At its core, meditation is just trying to get that “knowing” thing to stop. One of the best ways to do that is to simply think about things that you dont know, or imagine things that you dont think you do. But not having the knowledge of it will make you doubt the whole thing, so why not just keep on thinking and not worrying about the “knowing” thing. Meditation is just keeping on going.
I know, I know. Thats my whole point. Meditation is to just let the knowing thing take you, and then go to sleep.
A lot of people like to meditate by themselves but its not so easy. You can only get so far in meditation without the right meditation techniques, and with the right meditation techniques, you will be able to get far enough. Meditation is an art that has been practiced for thousands of years, and its only getting better.
We often think that meditation should be a bit of a solitary practice. Its not. Meditation is one of the most important things you can do in your life. Its the place where we all connect with ourselves and with the world around us.
