Basically you are meditating in your sleep as you are dreaming. As you are meditating, you are dreaming, but the experience is still quite different. The main difference is that when you are dreaming, you are able to see thoughts in your mind and can even hear your thoughts. You are not in a position to control your thoughts and see what they are capable of. When you are meditating, you are only allowed to see and hear your mind and are unable to control it.
You can also dream lucidly with a little practice, but like any form of lucid dreaming, it’s not a completely comfortable experience. Many people practice meditation for lucid dreaming, but I personally think that it is a good idea for anyone who is trying to lose consciousness. This is because it is very difficult to maintain a lucid dream state with your eyes wide open. It is possible to do it, but it is not the easiest and the most comfortable form of dreaming. It is also possible to be unconscious while doing it, so it is worth learning as much as you can.
Meditation for lucid dreaming is a method, not a religion. It does not require any special beliefs or beliefs about the nature of reality.
