I have always had a bit of a fascination with meditation and I’ve been doing it since I was a teenager, but I had no clue what it meant as a way to live. The fact that it’s possible to do it and it’s something a lot of people, myself included, do is a great thing.
I have always felt that meditation was something that should be tried at least once in your life. I know I say that every now and then, but it’s true. Meditation is a bit of a mystery to many of us, but the basic idea is that you sit and focus on a particular thought or feeling, or question, and try to stay with it.
Meditation is something which everyone has to some degree. While I don’t get paid to talk about it, I also don’t get paid enough to not try and get it. Meditation is something that is very accessible to many people, and is a growing trend in our culture. I know that a lot of people are beginning to come to it for the first time, and I think it has a strong possibility of becoming one of our next big trends.
For the past few years I have been telling people that meditation is not necessarily something that we should do. Meditation is a technique, not a lifestyle. But I have come to realize that if you don’t know how to meditate well, you’re going to get lost. So I’ve slowly begun to learn how to meditate and practice, and I’m sure that I wasn’t the first person to try this.
Meditation is one of those things that does not lend itself well to a lot of the “self-help” craze that seems to have swept through our culture in recent years. I think there is a misconception that being meditative means that we are always doing something (like meditating) or that being meditative means doing something (like meditating). In reality, that just is not true.
The reason meditation is so popular is because it is such a good way to reduce stress; however, the more we practice it, the more we find that we want to do more, and the more we want to do it for a specific purpose. Being meditative in the sense of just sitting and being present with your thoughts can help you relax. However, as we become more aware of our thoughts, that can take the place that meditation as a whole is supposed to.
You can’t really meditate without awareness. In fact, you can get very angry or even depressed without even really realizing it. Meditation is a great tool to reduce stress, but it’s not the only thing that can be useful.
When I meditate, I notice that my mind is more open to what I am going through and less closed off. I can see how my body is reacting to stress, and then I can stop and focus on what my body is telling me. I don’t have to go crazy, but I do have to take a few moments to be still.

The first place I meditate is my office. I usually do it in the mornings, and I tend to stay in my mind for a couple of hours. If I stay in my mind too long, it starts to feel like a prison. It is also worth noting that since I work from home, I am on my own 24/7. If I am feeling anxious, I can often go out into my city and meditate.
