In the beginning, I was really afraid of meditation. I didn’t know if I was a freak or not, but I was scared. At the time, I thought that meditation would make me unable to sleep, and that I would lose myself, and that I would get stuck in a rut, and that my life would change in a way that was totally off-kilter. But my fears were unfounded. I now know that meditation is actually healthy and incredibly useful.
Meditation helps you break out of your daydream loop, it helps you get back to the moment. In my experiments, I have found that if I’m doing anything else, the thoughts that start to creep into my head are those that I am trying to break out of. After I finish something, I’m usually still thinking about it the next day, so it is very helpful to have a few minutes to sit down and try to clear up those thoughts.
Meditation is a great way to get back into the moment, so it’s definitely worth trying. But there is a problem. When you’re meditating, you are not actually meditating; you are just thinking about something else. That isn’t meditation. You’ll find a lot of people who claim that they are meditating when they are not.
You can do a lot of meditation by trying to stop thinking about your thoughts. If you find that you start thinking about a particular thought, try moving your thoughts to a different thought. For example, thinking about your thoughts about your cat (you probably already know this) might be better than thinking about your thoughts about your cat (that youve been trying to let go of your subconscious) because you are not actually meditating about your cat.
My wife has been meditating for about a year now (since she learned to meditate on my advice), and she always has to stop and think about how she should meditate. She has to think about how to start meditating, etc. She usually has to start thinking about the right posture, how to sit in the correct way, etc. It is definitely going to take a while, but the more you do it, the better.
At the beginning of this book I mentioned that meditation, especially when done on a regular basis, can be quite difficult to maintain. We are all different kinds of people, and the only way to get through this is to try to stay consistent. I am not talking about going to the gym and working out just to lose weight. That is a lot of work and I would not recommend it. The best kind of meditation is that that you do when you are not even paying attention.
In the same way that an addict can have the willpower to drink but not the willpower to quit, it is very tough to maintain meditation. I know I have tried it and it hasn’t worked for me. I know this because recently I started to do it again, and this time I am doing it to try to calm my mind down.
I have found this to be true even when I am not meditating. I am not even paying attention to what I am doing, I am just thinking about drinking again. This means that even when I am doing something completely mind-blowing, I still am not aware of myself doing it. The same thing goes for meditation. You may have to be aware of what you are doing, but you are not aware of your own actions.
This is why I’ve been meditating so much lately. It has become like a second job for me, and I’m always looking for ways to give it back. There is a bit of an art to meditation that I’ve developed over the past few years, and I think that is a good thing. I try to find something that I can do to help me relax and be less stressed out. For a lot of people meditation is just like a bad habit to break.
I don’t agree with this completely, but it is something you should try. I think it is a good thing, because it gives you something to do while you meditate. It is a way to quiet your mind and try to be more mindful while you are meditating. You are not aware of what your doing, so you can still have an awesome time.
