To me, meditation is really about finding what’s most important to you and then making a commitment to work on that and live by that. It’s about knowing what’s most important to me and then working on that. I think it’s about getting out of yourself and working on what really matters to you, not about doing what you want to do.
Meditation is really about focusing on what you want to focus on and then being present for whatever happens. But most of us don’t really know what we want or what we want to focus on. So meditation is usually about going to a meditation retreat and doing those kinds of things to help your self-awareness.
Meditation does sound like a cool idea, but it’s more of a mental exercise than something you can actually do. You can find meditation retreats and classes around the world.
Some people have said meditation is “self-absorption” and “nothingness” which implies that there is no self. But of course, there is no such thing as “self” or “nothing” or “nothingness.” We are all different and have different needs in life. So meditation is not a “thing you can do” but rather a practice that helps you learn how to be present for whatever you want to learn how to be present for.
When I talk about meditation, I am talking about something you can do in your own life. You don’t have to do it every day. You don’t have to meditate in the morning or the night. You don’t have to meditate every day of the week. You don’t even have to meditate if you don’t feel like meditating. You just have to find a way to be present for whatever you want to learn how to be present for.
In addition to meditation, there is another more passive form of meditation. It happens when you want to be present for some task, but you dont want to have to think about it. Its called “image meditation.
image meditation happens when you watch images. You can watch your wife, your daughter, your dog, your cat, etc. and let that image wash over you. You can practice this when you feel like you want to go to sleep, or when you want to have a conversation with someone you dont want to keep thinking about.
I’m not sure what to think about the video. I have a few images in my head but I don’t feel like I’m being distracted at all. I still feel like I’m having the time of my life, though. These images are being processed by my brain, and I feel the same way when I hear an orchestra play. I can’t take my eyes off them. I can’t not think about them. I always feel like I’m being watched.
I think it’s very hard to take your eyes off your thoughts.
Mindfulness meditation is an often overlooked practice for the average person. It is a practice that has been gaining popularity recently. While you may not be practicing mindfulness to get the maximum benefit (which is the goal of most people), the benefits of mindfulness are clear. Mindfulness practices allow us to be in the moment and to experience the moment without distorting it. We become aware of the thoughts that are going through our minds and are able to notice when they are interfering with our experience of this moment.
