Mindfulness meditation helps you not only to recognize what you are thinking and feeling, but also to stay aware of them. You can practice this in the beginning stages of meditation, but you can also integrate it into your daily life. For example, if you’re meditating while you’re listening to your favorite music, you might choose to allow your brain to start to notice when you hear certain sounds. You could also start to notice when you feel a certain emotion.
