This is a very personal decision that I’ve made, and I didn’t choose this one because I’m trying to be an expert on meditation. I chose this because I have found that I am more present when I’m meditating and I love that I get to talk to other people while I’m meditating.
Meditation definitely has its place in helping us to have more peace and less stress. But it can also be a very selfish activity. What I find really inspiring about meditation is the fact that it can bring us to a deep inner space where we can truly be alone.
This is the best way I know to think about meditation is to think about it as a type of meditation. That is, we can all sit quietly and think about what we are feeling, seeing, hearing, etc. Then we can use that to guide our thoughts to what we want to be doing.

The hard part is finding a meditation that works for you.
