I want to end the day with the best thing I ever ate. And I’ll be damned if I don’t do it in a way that works for me and my family. I’ve decided that I’m going to meditate. It’s important to take care of yourself first, and I’m going to focus on doing that by doing at least one thing each day that I can get away with doing at home.
And while meditation is about focusing your attention inward, it can also be about releasing negative energy. Meditation can literally be a physical practice where you focus on one part of your body or you can just focus on your breathing. Either way, you can’t go wrong with focusing on something that’s relaxing and energizing.
For me, a key technique is to be mindful of what we want to focus on and to focus on it constantly. The other day I was meditating on the sound of a bird, and while that was relaxing, I couldn’t help but notice that I had been sitting in an airplane for the last couple hours. While it might not seem like a big deal, I felt like I had spent hours in an airplane and the sensation of the airplane was completely distracting.
To me the best way to relax and de-stress is to get away from the stressors of my life. To accomplish that, I use meditation. I start by learning a technique called “Sound Therapy” and it’s one of those that works for me as well as anyone. After that I learn how to clear my mind through meditation. I can go on for hours and hours if I have to, but by the time I get back to work or school it’s gone.
I can’t say I meditate because I don’t. I do it because I feel good.

Buddhist meditation is the practice of maintaining a calm mind and feeling the body and breathing still. There are many different forms of Buddhist meditation, but for this discussion it will be helpful to use the method of sitting in a chair with your eyes closed. You can either do this with a mantra or with the practice of the breath. The practice of sitting in a chair with your eyes closed is called mindfulness meditation.
This meditation is very similar to the method of “mindfulness meditation” in that you focus on the present moment when you sit in a chair with your eyes closed. Like mindfulness meditation, you focus on the present moment in a manner that is effortless and effortless. The key difference is that mindfulness meditation is easier to do than meditation based on Buddhist principles, because you’re not taking a long time to meditate.
If you have a hard time meditating, you can always practice a mindfulness meditation session. Meditation sessions usually last about 30 to 60 minutes. Like mindfulness meditation, these sessions are easy to do.
The key difference between mindfulness meditation and meditation based on Buddhist principles, of course, is the goal. In mindfulness meditation, you want to be completely relaxed, calm, and peaceful. In Buddhist meditation, the goal is to become aware of your feelings and then to let go of them completely.
