Sometimes you have to get rid of a few things in your life, or your mind just wants to go off the rails. As my membership has grown I have found that when you are working on things that you are most passionate about that there is no better time than the present to do it.
I am sure there are many people who are struggling with similar issues and want to make their life better. The problem I see most is that many people are afraid to say they are struggling, or don’t know how to find the motivation to do something, or they don’t know when to quit. If you have someone who is struggling with something in their life, it is much easier to find someone to help you when you are in need.
There is that sense I get when I see someone trying to quit smoking. It’s so easy to think that the quitting is almost impossible, or that it can only be reached with the help of an incredibly supportive friend. The problem with that is that its so easy to find someone who is an even bigger quitter than you are and just tell them your story, and that they should just quit. They will just tell you that it isnt possible.
I think I can relate to that. When I quit smoking, it was a very difficult process. I thought that I could do it, but I couldn’t. I had to start from scratch. If I had any friends who were smokers, I would have had the strength to go through with it myself. I think that I have only really reached the point of quitting once now, and that is quite a while ago.
