If you want to know what you are currently thinking about, then just think about what you are thinking about right now. Also, try to imagine what you are about to do at any point in the future. Then, try to keep your mind moving in time, always imagining yourself moving forward.
The second thing you should do is imagine what you will be doing in three years. This is actually the hardest part, because we are constantly visualizing things in our mind, but we don’t always realize what we are actually thinking about. We think we can just sit and concentrate on a thought, and forget about it, but it is really hard to stay focused and not get distracted.
