Theta healing meditation is the brain-based practice of tapping into the three-dimensional space of the body, mind, and consciousness. Theta is a Sanskrit word that is equivalent to the Greek words “theta” and “alpha.
Meditation is always a good idea. Theta healing meditation is just one of those things that you’ll need to do if you’re seeking something for yourself or for your loved ones.
Theta healing meditation, as we’ll see, involves tapping into and regulating the alpha waves of your brain. Alpha waves are the same as theta waves, but they work through different pathways in the brain. Theta waves are associated with the brainstem, the lower portion of the brain. Theta waves are associated with the “higher” brain, the cortex (which is where the brain is connected to the rest of the body).
Theta waves are extremely calming, and they’re one of the easiest forms of meditation to access. When you’re meditating theta waves are released in your brain, stimulating the area of the brain that regulates them which allows you to feel relaxed and calm.
Theta is sometimes called “the third state of consciousness,” because it is the third time in your life that youre aware of your surroundings and are able to fully experience them. During theta youre experiencing the whole world, from the minute you were born until now.
In meditation we use theta waves to help calm ourselves and calm the rest of the body. In meditation we also connect with our body, breathing deeply and deeply. Theta waves help us become more connected to life. Because when we meditate we are more aware of the events in our daily life, and as we learn to control our own lives, we learn to control our emotions as well.
In theta we are able to make the world around us more real. We’re able to see what our body is doing, and what it is not doing. And we can see our emotions. Meditation can also help us relax. If you take a deep breath, before you breathe out, your body will start to relax. And when we mediate we connect with our body and relax because we can understand what it is doing and what it is not doing.
If you ever want to meditate, you can do some simple things. You can do it while your brain is engaged, or you can do it when relaxing. If you are not sure what to do, or you are not sure it will help, think back to when you were meditating before. Are you relaxed? Do you feel good? If you do not feel good, meditate on the feeling you are experiencing now and tell it how you feel.
In a study done by the University of Miami, 70% of people who meditate with their eyes closed report a significant increase in their creativity. In addition, research by John Teasdale at the University of Toronto shows that meditation can actually improve health. A group of volunteers who meditated for 10 minutes per day for a month were found to have lower levels of stress hormones, higher levels of their blood sugar levels, and better blood flow to the brain.
This is all very interesting, but I don’t think it’s what I’m looking for. Theta healing meditation is all about theta waves, which are basically the same thing as brain waves. Theta waves are the electromagnetic waves at certain frequencies. Meditation works because it makes you more in tune with theta waves, which have a positive impact on brain function.
