When I first began practicing meditation, I wasn’t really sure what I was doing. I did it for a few months and it had me thinking a lot about how I could practice more meditation. I had tried mindfulness practices and found that they were hard to do. I thought that I couldn’t really have a mental practice without a physical practice.
It turns out that meditation is really a way of being aware of yourself. It’s all about being present with the present moment. By being present with the present moment you’re able to see yourself in the present moment. You’re aware of who you are, you’re experiencing the moment and the now moment.
Being present with the present moment means being aware of the moment but also being aware of the moment. For example if youre in the middle of a conversation with someone, its important to be aware of the person you are with, but also the person in front of you. That way you can notice that they are you and also notice that you are them. This awareness is called mindfulness. The more you can be aware of the moment, the more you can become present with the moment.
When you meditate you tend to be more aware and open. This is because when you meditate you are completely present, you are there in your mind and body, but you are not there in your head or heart. You are truly in the now moment, and the moment is now present. You can also be aware of the present moment but not of the past or future, simply by being aware and relaxed.
Meditation is another of those things like the internet age of being able to do whatever you want, when you want, wherever you want. The question is, what is the goal? The goal of meditation is to live in the moment, not just to feel or be present.
